

Lidia was born and raised in Spain, but her roots trace back to Equatorial Guinea. Her passion for photography began at a very young age when she would capture moments at family gatherings and reunions with friends. She soon started experimenting with her point-and-shoot camera, using her cousin, sister, and even herself as subjects to explore different angles, settings, and lighting techniques. By the age of 15, her interest in photography had deepened, leading her to purchase her first DSLR camera. It was then she realised she wanted to pursue a career in photography.
Now, at 27 years old, Lidia is a dedicated and passionate photographer skilled in both analogue and digital photography. She constantly seeks to capture the beauty of people and moments through her lens. Her work focuses primarily on celebrating love and beauty within the Black community, while she also enjoys delving into documentary photography.
Lidia strives to use her camera as a powerful tool to showcase the beauty of her culture and ethnicity to the world. Her approach to photography emphasises embracing and highlighting the unique beauty of her subjects, ensuring that their essence shines through every image.
